When on holiday, Marion always brings her easel, paints and brushes along. She loves to paint outdoors and it is a pleasant change compared to the time-consuming still lives. The plein air painting must be done quickly, because the light is changing so rapidly. Sometimes she uses her ‘outdoor sketches’ to make a new painting in her studio.
